On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Mr. Phokin Chamket, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 3, assigned the Hydrology Section 1, Nong Khai, and the warning network to participate in a training program on the development and enhancement of the flood and landslide early warning system at Loei Palace Hotel, Mueang Loei District, Loei Province. Mr. Pairin Limcharoen, Deputy Governor of Loei Province, presided over the event. The objective was to establish a mechanism for monitoring water levels and situations in high-risk villages prone to flash floods and landslides, enabling village officials and volunteers (experts) to effectively utilize monitoring data for early warning systems.
